Amusement Park
Everyone loves rollercoasters or amusement parks. Why travel 4-5 hours either direction to goto one. This would also draw in tourists and could be built just outside of town.

RV Manufacturer
It would appear we have an opportunity for a RV Manufacturer, as we have several RV Dealers in our area, and a very strong transportation industry cluster.
Not sure what the start up costs would actually be.

River Rec Rentals
The Greater Wisconsin Rapids area needs a River Recreation Rental facility that rents canoes, kayaks, fishing equipment and/or riding vehicles for the many trails along the river. As a possible participant in the idea, my partners and I have a building located on the river that would provide a terrific location for the idea to occur!

Public Transportation
With the high cost of fuel, is there a way to provide some kind of public transportation while sharing some of the costs between communities. Even one bus that made a regular route around the Wisconsin Rapids, Port Edwards, Nekoosa area might enable people to get to work or appointments. Maybe there are too many obstacles to such an idea, but I know that I would be tempted to take a little longer getting places if I could pay a little less than what gas is currently costing me.
